    Exclamation Spindle load meter

We have a VF-6 mfg. 12/97. Currently we have and issue with the spindle and I am wondering if anyone has an idea to what is going on. In high gear or low gear when we go to fire the spindle the load meter maxes out. We stop it before any alarm comes up or nothing else happens to the machine.
Anyone see this before or have a solution? We had a ring test done to the spindle motor and it checked out. You can turn the spindle by hand while in high gear.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks.

    BJSWART,

Not 100% on this solution, It was years ago, but I still remember it did happen to us when we were working in another company.
I was told it was the belt under the head cover, on older machines this belt I think goes to the encoder. You just have to remove the head sheetmetal cover and look up top of head and you will see it.
Might of either broke or is off the pulleys. I would check it out there first.
