    1982 Mazak quickturn

    Hello Guys,

    Well i stumbled upon a 1982 Mazak quickturn with a busted T1.

I was wondering if it would be a good buy to retrofit it with PC based system.

Does anyone know what the rated parameters on its servo motors (mitsubshi HD80 dc servos) are? (voltage, current)

It looks like the machine is a good candidate for a retrofit but i would like to know if I can use the motors and drivers that come with the machine.
Im attaching a couple of pictures of the machine and of a servo.
    Thanks!!
    Fernando

    hi,

If you are going to retrofit the mazak machine, I would be interested in buying the control boards for the mazak machine. I have a similar machine Mazak T1 control that needs boards. My email is [email protected]

    Hi Fernando,

You could try with 96 Vdc and it should run approximately 2000 rpm, then measure the current, should be around 10 Amp.
