Best bang for the buck within US brands?

I'm currently in the market for a laser cutter/engraver with my primary goal being to cut acrylic up to 1/4" The bed size needs to be at least 18"x32" but larger would be better.

Universal Laser seems to have the best pricing I've found so far. They are asking around $17K for a 60w system new. This is a bit more than I was wanting to spend but I know they have "demo" units at better prices. Are there any other manufacturers I should be considering as well? I've checked with Epilog but their offerings are out of my budget.

I would also consider a used system if it's available at a good price in the Dallas area so that I can verify its' cut precision and quality.

    Hello,
Look on GCC lasers (in USA they are selling under Pinnacle name also). Really reliable equipment with good tech specs. Try 40 Wt Spirit GE or Spirit GX.
