For starters let me say hello to everyone here at CNCZone.

Also let me explain a little about what my company does. We sell Products and Services for Design and Manufacturing, and we have also had our own full machine shop since 1979.

As Far as products go we sell and support EdgeCAM, SpaceClaim, Revworks (for reverse engineering), Laser Scanners and Software, ArtCAM, ZCorp Printers, and Calmotion USB to CNC controllers.

For Services we can offer contract design, CNC Programming, Reverse Engineering, and rapid prototyping.

I'm here to offer my knowledge, and anything further that anyone may need. Ask away! Also if you have a question for me but don't want to ask on the forum you can reach me at [email protected] or visit the website at www.goiqtech.com.

I also wanted to include a little bit about SpaceClaim for those who might be a little bit curious about it. I noticed that there was a new forum for it on here, but not much information about it.

For you job shops out there imagine being able to have one program capable of taking files from Pro-E, Solid Works, CATIA V5, Rhino, AutoCAD Inventor, or any solid format and being able to make changes to it on the fly, prepare models for manufacturing and also create the fixtures for the models. SpaceClaim Fits into your existing design process

- Works with popular common formats ACIS, STEP, IGES, ECAD, Rhinoceros,
CGR, DWG, DXF, STL, OBJ, XAML, VRML, and 3D PDF (requires Adobe
Acrobat 9 Pro Extended)
- Optional modules available to read native CAD data
- Integrated with many leading CAE and CAM tools
- Create high-quality models for the detailed design team

I hope for you guys out there asking the question, "What is SpaceClaim and why would I want to use it?" this answered some of it.

Below is a great example demo of how you can use files from other CAD programs for Conceptual Engineering.

Or maybe you are interested in how SpaceClaim can be used to rapidly optimize designs for manufacturing? If so watch the demo below to answer some questions.
