    Rotary Pneumatic Piston

I have a application that required a piston to be constantly in rotation.
    The process goes like this:
Piston extended. End of piston rod will be pressing on workpiece, while workpiece is rotating.
Which in turn will rotate the piston rod constantly as well.
Is the pneumatic piston able to take the constant rotation, will it wear off?
The speed is about 5 - 6 rpm.

    Thanks

Is there no way you could put a pad on the end of the piston with a thrust bearing arrangement? This would avoid the necessity of rotating the piston.
