Upgrading to the latest Mach version

Will all my settings remain in tact if I install the latest version? I'm running 1.84 now and want to upgrade to ver 3 but I don't want to have to set up everything all over again - inputs, motor tuning, etc.
    Thanks.

Always a good idea to back up your .xml just in case.

I upgraded Jan of 2008. As far as I know I have no issues. Should I leave well enough alone?

If everything works for you, then I wouldn't upgrade. Only upgrade if you need newer features, or you have problems.
