    Yaskawa ac servo encoder problem

    Hello everyone,

I have a SGM08A2FJ25 servo motor for DR2 servopack. Its work fine.
I also have 2 pieces of 08AAFJ11 servo motor and they not work with the same settings. I think the pulse number of the encoders are different.
Please help me if you can.
    Thanks

    Two things:

1st: The back of the motor where the encoder is housed usuall has a Sticker on it that will give you a hint as to what kind of encoder that motor uses. a common one is UTOPH - 81 AWF.

2nd: What kind of drive Do you have? an SGDA or SGDB, etc. ?

To tell you the trough I mixed up the type numbers. 08AAFJ11 works fine. SGM08A2FJ25 and SGM08A2FJ24 doesn't work. I have Yaskawa DR2 servopacks to try them and used to these motors were wired to DR2 OEM type servopacks. There isn't sticker at all.
    Thanks
