Hello. I have gotten to the point in my CNC machine build that I am now trying to make my first part. The problem I am having is getting TurboCNC to talk to my machine. I have run test software that came with my SP3 stepper motors and circuit board setup from Stepperworld and everything runs from the test software but when I try to just jog the stepper motors using TurboCNC nothing happens. What is the correct setup that I should use to make TurboCNC run? I have checked the paralllel port setting (378H) on my test software and that is what is set up in TurboCNC and have found some information concerning the setup of the pin #'s but am not sure this is correct. The info I have found is that for DB25 pin #'s "X" has step pin at 2 and dir pin at 3. "y" has step pin at 4 and dir pin at 5. "Z" has step pin 6 and dir pin at 7. This is what I have set on TurboCNC but am not sure if this was the correct thing to do or not. Either way I am not able to get TurboCNC to make anything work. If you guys out here at the CNCZone use TurboCNC please let me know what I am doing right or wrong. I'd like to start cutting parts before I go completely nuts just trying to figure out how to make this software run. Thanks, Dave
