Turning existing dwg file into 3D (solidworks)

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie to solidworks and didn't have much experience. My company just have a license using SW and my first project is to draw up a 3D model based on the existing DXF. Pls see the attached.
My question is: Could it be possible to make it happen with that existing file? To save time and not creating from the scratch, can that DXF be useful? Please let me know if any of you have any idea

    Many thanks in advances.

If you have cross-section drawings of the circular parts these could be used to get started but most will need re-drawing.
Most parts looks quite simple and shouldn't take long. The roller bearing a little more difficult.

I agree that it is typically faster to model from scratch.
However SW has methods for modeling from an existing DWG.
I suggest you do the 2D to 3D tutorial.

it can certainly be done, SolidWorks has pretty good 2D to 3D tools. As suggested, do the "stock" tutorials first to get an understanding of the process. I modeled the attached solid purely from a traditional 3-view drawings...

You can load 2D drawings into sketches, but you won't be able to do anything with the drawing you posted.
