    Cleaning EDM Filters

At the present time we are using The Tornado by Ebbco for cleaning our filters. Can anyone tell me another method you happpen to use? In the past we just power washed them, and let it run down the drain. Does anyone have specs as to if the old way is not legal? Really can't find much info out there on cleaning filters. But there has to be a better machine, or cleaner way.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!!

In our shop, cleaning the filters are generally not practised as it can be done only few times and the re-use life is not that big to compensate the cleaning time and charges.

You really clean and re-use the filters? Is it worth considering?

I've got paper cartridge type filters on my EDM. I let the filter dry out. Then bang 'em on the floor outside and blow compressed air. Only takes a minute.
