Hello,

I am trying to price up some single point insert thread milling cutters for both internal and external threads. I have seen some stuff that vargus/vardex makes and some iscar tools that may be what I need. Problem is nether vargus uk or the other supplier I have contacted have bothered to reply. My usual supplier doesn't stock this stuff.

Anyone one know of a uk supplier that does stock this sort of tooling and would have online shop or be bothered to supply?

Many thanks for the reply. I have just had a good look over the catalogue and I can't see any of the single point indexable thread mills. Virtually evrything but!

I have added them to my list of suppliers for the future though.

Try WNT as I know they use do them, but it's one of those stupid site where you need register before you can view their product range.

Both companies deal direct and Iscar has a good e-catalog with prices.

Yes just been looking at the ISCAR online catalogue and have obtained pricing for thread milling items. Many Thanks. Tried to contact vargus vardex direct buf after 3 emails to three differing sales people no response so far. That always puts me off a company!
