Depending upon which Heidenhain control it is you do not need to convert the G code.You can programme the control in G code.

thanks for your reply mate.we tried it but we're having an error we shifted the control into iso mode but when we transferred the program the machine wouldn't accept.this is the first time we shift the control into iso mode...any idea how to solve the problem...thanks in advance...

Are you programming at the control or off-line?

we have a heidenhain control i used to program in control. but in engraving i find difficult without using an engraving software i use deskengrave software to make an engrave but is only g-codes to save the program. we never do any engraving before this is our first time we do it but we've encountered this problem.thanks for the reply mate.

I know you have a Heidenhain control,you told us in your first post.What you have not told us is what model of Heidenhain control you have.Some of them don`t accept G code.
What programme are you using to talk to the Heidenhain?
What make/model of machine is it on?
