Will stepper die if spun to 3K RPM

Will a stepper motors magnet in the rotor get demagnetized if it is spun by another motor to 3,000 rpm for long periods of time with no connection to the stepper motor wires?

    Thanks

    Why?

I don't think the magnet will get hurt, but it seems like the sensitivity of the motor could be affected. What is it you are trying to do? I can't think of a reason to use one motor to turn another.
