Not sure what you mean by "mistake" I wasn't criticizing you, just never seen anyone abbreviate "which". I've watched all the tutorial vids on Youtube and at delcam.com. I can't remember any "Create" button for a relief. What exactly are you trying to do, maybe it's a nomenclature issue.

Are you just trying to take an image and make a relief? Are you trying to create a dished relief? Do you have some sort of 3D file you are trying to cut out? Do you have a link to the video your are referring to?

I followed the steps in the tutorial but i am having a hard time in the recessed feature tutorial b/c i can't find the 'Create' button w/c should be nearby.
Hoping for your kind consideration in detailing my mistake/s.
    Thank You.
Is this the "Create" toolpath feature your looking for? The "recessed" toolpath feature is right next to the "raised" toolpath feature button.

Yes,but it's pretty weird why my copy of artcam 2008 doesn't have those buttons while my copy of artcam 8 has 'em.

    Tnx anyway.

I was just trying to make a relief by following instructions from a tutorial in pdf.
Did my use of the word 'mistake' offend you?
By all means sir, i apologize.

I have to say I've never seen "which" abbreviated. But I dont text much so can't say how common it is to do that. Probly best to just type it out. Even if it's misspelled

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Amzanig huh?

ramps are at the plunge feedrate, not cutting feedrate. If you want it to ramp faster, increase the plunge feedrate.

Apparently they were just right under my nose.
    I apologize for being entirely

Excuse me sir,I've been cutting foam for a few months now.

But is there any way to convert a .bmp file to vectors?

I tried using Adobe Illustrator but anyway, what i'm trying to say is that i wanted to use two rail sweep in making a simple cross but i can't find a way to separate them vectors into different vector paths.

Tried Googling it, i'm not a really good researcher so any help would be deeply appreciated.

I've had a friend do it for me, using Photoshop. No idea how to do it though.

    1. What were the tool settings?
    2. Was this just the roughing toolpath?
    3. What is the overall height of the 3D model? You are showing it starting at a height of .15" with an unlimited height for the triangle shape.
    4. What does the simulation look like?

The overall height is .25" sir.

    4. What does the simulation look like?
    Attached at 6.jpg sir

**I have a teddy bear sample with 3 toolpaths,is that the correct way to do it?
The first toolpath has z level roughing.

After roughing with end mill, use a ball nose end mill for final pass.

    Okay sir.
I wanna know what went wrong, i am currently using an endmill.
Might you know what basic bits do i need?
i only have a carbide endmill 1/8" 4FL SQ SE.

I still have a few questions though.

1.How come the result was drilled into the wood sir and why was it not similar to the simulation?
    2. Is z level roughing required to make a 3d output in artcam?

**I'm still experimenting and so far the only thing i got right was the lizard, other than that zilch..
