    Strange Noise relate to coolant pump

    Hey guys,

    I have a 2002 VF0 and the other day something odd started happening.

    No matter what tool I am using, about 15-30 seconds into the cut, a ringing noise develops that sounds like a harmonic vibration or something, hard to describe. Think oooooooooooooooooooo, like a high pitched ringing noise.

    The noise itself seems to be coming from the spindle column, but the it goes away if I turn off the coolant pump. I've tested a bunch of times to make sure I'm not going crazy here but to the best of my understanding this is whats happening. Any ideas what may be going on? Cutting w/o coolant gets rid of the noise and the spindle sounds "normal" so I can't image it's the spindle itself.
