I have purchased the required materials for the table, hope to begin work from today. Will keep posted with pics. I enquired for a Hypertherm Powemax 1000 unit from my local dealer and he quoted me a price of around INR 3,25,000/- (US$ 6600 approx) with machine torch. I think its really high priced that what people get in USA. I am confused with the International Pricing of Hyperthem $$$$? , could possibly import one at half the price.

    Vishnu,
Great news! Lets see some pics as you progress. I think that price is high for a Hypertherm 1000. Here is a link to ebay/US showing the current prices of the same plasma cutter (watch for "machine torch"):

Looks like you are off to a running start on the table.

Those drives don't look like Gecko's however.
    If it works.....Don't fix it!

I think it may still take a week to complete, since the gearboxes & Z axis have to be made.
    Will keep you updated.

I'm confused with hypertherm products price too. Many indian customers come to ask price in China.
I think prices from hypertherm are same, but distributors change on local market.
So it's better check around before spend money.
