Just to get the ball rolling I made the daggiest screens I could.
I hope you can do better than this.
Come on guys I have seen what you can produce. Think gears, pullys, spindles, electrical puses, computers, Mach3 speed, you get the idea.
(These submissions are not entries into the competition)
These ideas came to mind...

Oh well, might as well give it a try, too
Hi All:
I can see from the entries so far that this will be a very hard competition to pick a winner from. All entries look very good.
I also wanted to thank Les Newell and Marris Freimanis for their donations to this competition. The products made by Marris and Les are such a great match to Mach2&3
that I have always felt both are responsible for the popularity of the software. Great products and great support are a hard thing to beat in helping any software along its development. Both have also been instrumental in helping me with various issues along the way.
Keep up the great work, I'm really looking forward to replacing Mach3's old Mach2 splash screen with one of these entries. Keep adding the entries, and I'll make sure your artwork is seen by thousands all over the world. And if that isn't enough enticement, youll also get to use Sheetcam, and drive your motors with the best stepper controllers made.
I can already see your all much more talented than I in the area of artistic merit..
Thanks, And good luck to all of you,
Art

Well I figured the verticle might not meet the specifications, so I did a compliant one as well. Must have spilled the pain though.
Picture is of one of our employees in the 1930's and comes from company archives.
Just figured I'd be a little retro with all the flashy modern graphics :-)
Just blew my Z axis stepper drive, so I REALLY hope I win at least a third of the first prize!

Ok, Missed out on the last one but wanted to get in on this because this software is the best i have tried, and make my homebuilt cnc machine run real smooth, Hats off to Art for a good job with it.
