I have the earlier model which I'm very pleased with.
I'm interested to know if the big red button on the front panal is just for show, or does it also stop the machine in an emergency?

the problem it is we use new control box, some main electronics have been change.like we cancel the power supply, and use converter.also, the all cable, connection total change,
you can see the pic,we make it more industry.
if change right now plan, you old elecontrics totally can not be use more...

but we still will provide this kind upgrade,
new control box with a lot of relay, and more safe switch.all cable was been in the shaft, with plastic cover.include a big fans to reduce the heat.

i will discuss with keith, richard about the plan.

That looks like a major OOPS to me- the US dealer has a shipment of old style machines arriving within days and the manufacturer announces to the whole world that they have a new design which is bunches better and the old machines can't be retrofitted. I'll bet those dealers are fuming. For the customers it might be a chance to get an old one at a fire sale price.

    Hi All,

Just found this site and glad I did. Lot's of great information and helpful people here

I have been looking into purchasing a CNC mill for a little while. How are the Syil machines quality wise? The X4 seems to be a nice machine and priced competitively at $4000 but put off after reading about the lack of support.

I'd be cutting in mostly aluminum so the new 5000rpm spindle is nice.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
