    vibration problem with new machine

I purchased a new gmc 10 x 54 and between 2759-3000 rpm I am getting a small vibration in the spindle head. The model is a varible speed unit. Any other rpm range the vibration seems to disapate. I do not have the draw bar installed yet because it is bent and the machine supplier is sendind a new one. Could running the machine without a drawbar cause this? When it vibrates you can feel it in the movements in the table's y axis. Should I check the varible speed drive belt for debre stuck on a pully or any other visual inspections. Thanks for any replies

How did it turn out with the vibration problem?

I'm thinking of getting the same machine next month.

I can't find anyone around with one and reviews are hard to find. I would really appreciate any info you want to share about the GMC.

    Thanks

The vibration went away. I think it was the seam on the drive belt. It stopped after the belt wore in. I am very happy with the machine. It has good quality for the price.
