Thanks SkipW, i'll check them out.
Hi;
I have been working with Lasers of one type or another for 20 yrs.
I run a job shop for a Lasercut Inc. in CT., wrote user interface to run laser for Lasercut Inc., and showed new owner how to program and run lasers.
I am no longer working and I have a 60W Legacy Laser, which I have had
for 1.5 yrs. So I say to check out Legacylaser.com. Talk to Dean or send me a PM and I will get back to you
joe
Here is a video using the optional rotary piece.(wich is tricky to setup) but once is setup works like a charm , other than that the machine is very simple to use and the LaserCut 5.3 software is very easy to use. I make all my designs in Corel and export them in DXF format. And like I said before, it has LED lighting inside, GOOD precision, good quality the motorized table goes up/down very slow so you can focus you items perfectly.
This are a few things I have done with mine.
Camera Pan/tilt kit for R/C airplanes

Flashlight engraving

I'm also working in a R/C electric AirBoat prototype
Here is an example of what you can do with it.
cdesings,
Wow, nice.. Pictures and video too! What is that material you are cutting through to make the RC components? I'm not very familiar with building models.
Also, have you ever worked with wood, cutting specifically. I'm mostly interested in engraving on wood surfaces and cutting pieces up to a 1/4" thick. Have you ever cut anything that thick before?
Nice looking projects by the way
Oh and sorry for the delay in response, I have been out of town for a couple weeks.
