I have a Star Swiss machine KNC32 with a Frenic controller on the subspindle. The controller has puked. Does anyone know who fixes them or is there a cost effective upgrade?

The 5M3 is a standard inverter, so it is fairly easy to replace. Can you tell me if it still comes on when you apply power? And, what is the error code on the drive?

We may be able to repair it for you; if not, and it still turns on, then we can get the operating parameters to make it easier to set up a new one.

On the inside of the unit on the side there is a tag with drive information. can you supply that for me?
