    Haas Mill, Vector Drive

    What year did HAAS VF series mills come standard with the Vector Drive for the spindle motor?

    Dean,

    All Haas' come with a "vector drive"...early ones came with a third party(IE Fugi)..later model ones come with Haas' own..

    If you are asking when Haas started to build and supply their own Vector Drive that would be about the time they switched to brush less servos..1996..
