I need a monitor, or a monitor rebuild for starters. I also need a servo amplifier. Have you ever found anyone with a supply of used parts?

Is the screen dead, or just very dim? As I have just replaced the crt in one Mazak T1 with a crt from an old 12"? monochrome monitor, if this is the case, what I did was seek out somewhere that has old PC monochrome monitors (they are becoming rare, but $5 or $10 ea.) and find a tube with the same phyisical diminsions also the same scan angle, thats the angle of the crt from the screen to the neck. If you feel you don't want to handle the swop yourself, any TV or PC repair shop would do it. Its probabally over $1,000 for a new one, if you can get them.

For a little while when you powered it up it would be small and scrambled. You had to cycle the power a couple of times and it would be fine. Well, of course after a few months of this it quit righting itself and now it stays that way. We have other T1 machines, and I swapped it out and it is definitly in the monitor. Then I had to rob a servo amplifier to fix one of the other machines. I may just part this thing out, or sell it all together. It's a quickturn, about a 83 model. I don't know do you have any ideas?

    Hello
My high voltage coil burned out on my QT-15 lathe monitor.

I want to replace it with old monitor from a computer.

Do you have the pin out from the Mazak monitor?

Will an LCD new monitor work?

    Bye

What control is it? The pinout I have is for the older monitors, that go to the 20 pin Honda connectors.
    Is it monochrome or colour?

    Hi Al

    The control is a T32B

The connector is a rect. 15 pin. Only 10 pins have wires on them.

    It has an amber screen.
