Hi everybody,
I bought a CO2 engraving laser machine in China. It's a very beautiful new machine... but it doesn't work.
First, I found that the electricity is runing through the box of the laser power supply, that made my circuit breaker stopped. So I put the laser power supply out of its box. And there is no more problem with electricity.
But... Because there is always a "but"... :tired:When I turn on the power of my engraving machine, the lens is moving to the left side of the cabinet, the work table could go up and down, the light is lighting, the exhausted fan, etc... are working... Great! But the laser tube doesn't light, doesn't work.
I look on my laser power supply, and I see that its fan doesn't move and that its little red light is not lighting. I'm sure that the laser tube is not working (that means I can't engrave anything). When I turned the button of the ampermeter of the machine, the pointer doesn't move. And if I try to make an engraving test, nothing happens.:drowning:
Do you have any good idea about why it doesn't work?
I thought that it is perhaps the laser tube is dead (but it is new)... Is it possible? Or does it come from the laser power supply (which is normally new)?
What kind of tests could I do to find the problem?
Thank you very much for your help!
