Attached is a drawing created in turbocad professional version 9. When I try to load into either sheetcam or mach2 many extra radius lines are shown. The same problem appears as dwg format. What am I doing wrong?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but importing a 3d dxf file into Mach2 won't work, will it?
No it won't work. What youre seeing is that the object is a mesh, made up of many triangles and 4 sides flat surfaces. Mach2 will only read simple 2D entities. Lines, arcs,....Originally Posted by DAB_Design
If your using sheetcam, try just drawing your border and 4 circles, and set up the pocketing in Sheetcam. Mach2 won't create the pockets, you'll have to draw all the toolpaths to clean out the pockets if you use Mach2's conversion.

Thank you for the replies. Part of what confused me about the mach conversion was that it at least imported the 3D dxf file and put it in the editor. Your guidance to use sheetcam on 2D dxf with pocketing works fine.
