Anyone running a Hwacheon VMC or have any experience they can share about this manufacture(parts/support)?

I currently have a Hwacheon HMC 450 horizontal. I really like it. I was skeptical of a Korean machine but it is well engineered and looks to be assembled nicely. Fit and finish. For service, they are very helpful, polite and quick to respond. Impressed me enough that I just ordered a new VMC from them. There are a ton of machine tools out there that are all pretty good. I learned to buy from the best support. I think everyone would agree on that. Best of luck with your search.

We have owned a Hwacheon Sirius-U since 1997 and had a lot of issues in the beginning. It is currently shut down with a blown spindle and has been for over a year. They want too much to repair. The service over the years has been so so with the primary cause for concern being the language barrier.

We purchased a Hyundai 400 VMC two years ago and love it! Service on the Hyundai is from West Coast CNC here in So Cal has been GREAT!
