Sorry my friend your going to need a hard drive.
while the first reply you recieved is often correct there are other things i have seen cause this.1 a stuck key on the touch screen or key board. 2 and quite common is you get a failure in the windows side of the control. when this happens you can ghost the drive and restore the system data with a windows data set that is not corrupt and you can often fix these. i would never put a hard drive in one of these as they do go our quite often. rather buy a adapter to install flash memory card such as you probably use in you pcmcia card adapter. there are some tricks to partitioning the drive correctly and use must use windows nt if that is what is on the machine. modern ghost software often tries to rewrite data into current methods and the machine will not work. If done properly you often can start right up if not you will have to install your purchase options prior to running. Every cincinati that i have has flash memory rather than hard drive which is 12-15 lathes and mills.

Can you send me the serial number of the control and the machine?
Do you have in the documentation of your machine the test book that Cincinnati include in their machines?
Please try it:
turn on your machine.
In your keyboard push the letter delete many times.
let me know what happend?
