I have an older Bridgeport M-head that I would like to add X, Y, and Z DRO to. What should I look for and where is the best place to look to buy?

I've been looking for the same thing for a pair of Lagun mills, 16x33.5x16 travels with the power feed X. The C-80 and B-60 Newall have the inductive scales, which I have no experience with yet, look to be a better way to go with their sealed design. The B-60 box is a little simpler design, uses the same scales, has a few less fancy functions, and a hundred less. It is my first choice yet am open to suggestions.

The enclosed system sounds nice when chips are flying. But $1,200 for 2-axis and $1,400 for 3 sounds like top dollar.

It is working out. I replaced the 4 spindle bearings and lapped the quill housing back into shape and it feels like a new machine now.

I'm excited to get the fine feed clutch and spring assist working again next.

I have a price of $1300 for the three axis C-80 16x33x16, and $1200 for the Newall B-60 16x33x16, which also uses the good scales. The B-60 has a few less jazzy functions and a smaller footprint. Yes, it costs plenty and is why I'm still choking down the numbers. The two axis C-80 is around $900.
