    Fadal VMC 15XT

    Trying to help someone out with their Fadal VMC 15XT. I'm a Haas guy. How do I find out the comm settings on the controller itself? I know I can set Mastercam to match.

    what kind of controller is it?

    CNC 88? or Fanuc?

    I think he said the 88. Is there a big difference? Tell me what you know about either one. Much appreciated.

    In the 88HS, from the Command mode type SETP to enter the parameters setting menus. The baud rate settings are on the first page.

    Don't know about the Fanuc controller.

    lol you beat me to the answer. yes SETP is short for "set parameters" this has baud rates etc
