Help I sent the following to Xylotex 10/14/09. To date no response. I would appreciate any help consel etc. anyone would care to proved.

Help I've lost the A axis on my 4 axis plug and play system. Probably operator error on my part, I might have unplugged the A axis when powered up.

Symptoms. X,Y and Z axis seem to work normal. Nothing happens when I try to move A axis. When powered up A axis seems to try to lock but seems very weak. No + or - A axis motion. I've checked all connections and they seem good. I checked continuity from A axis motor plug back to board screw terminals with my VOM set at 2000k ohms and get the following readings in ohms
Board Screw terminals'
Motor Lead Red white Black Green
Red 0 54 0 0
White 54 0 54 54
Black 0 54 0 0
Green 0 54 0 0

Obviously I'm an electronics dummy so I don't know if the above means anything or not. I await your knowledge and advice. If the board or component are bad, can they be fixed and or do you advise that I buy a backup board. If I have a backup board can I install myself?

Depending on your diagnosis advice please provide cost and delivery time.

TIA,
Pat
