    Dead soft copper?

Is this Alloy C110? Is dead soft just a "street" term? Looking to make some engine exhaust gaskets.

Dead soft is not a "street term".It is the softest level of the annealing process for copper.

You can anneal it yourself with a propane torch or weed burner. You can even quench it with water after heating. That won't make it brittle like carbon steel. I've done this to work copper sheets that end up work hardening after hammer forming. I will heat up the area again and work it until I get the shape I need.
