    Join lines in BC v23

I am importing a IGES 2d model from Rhino CAD. When trying to create contour path for machining I am only getting small segments of overall shape. I believe some lines in part are no longer joined once opened in BC and am having a hard time figuring out how to rejoin it in BC or how to use the line join function in BC.
Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

Can you actually see the gaps in the chain you are trying to select? It may be possible that there are overlapping entities that would mess up the chain selection. Another possibility is duplicate entities, they are usually found right where the chain selection stops.

I have zoomed and cannot see any gaps at line ends, I have done this before without issue, I must be missing something in the cam/tree setup order.
I did get the contour function to work by using a crossing window to highlight whole part, the downside is I have to delete contour function on all parts I don't need like drill areas. Thanks for the help.

    Hey Flek,
Here is a short vid I made for a guy that relates to "Chain selecting". It seems you got it, though a picture can help to bring things to light good too.

    Good luck.

Thanks, I did not know how to control direction and was only using shift selection to choose all not just some.
