    Real Time Board

    Hi,

My Real Time Board P/N 4 3424 2169A03 packed it in. Does anybody know where I can get it repaired or replaced for a decent price?

    Thank You

unfortunetly the best thing to do is send it to siemens. however any parts related to the a2100 or older have gotten really expensive. The only other thing is to take a chance with an electronics repair shop the problem with that is they must reverse engineer the board as siemens will not release enginering documents as long as they support it. i have twelve a2100s and several spare controls, drives, touch screens and we find ourselves taking machines out of production and upgrading. you can retro fit a cheaper control that takes out the cpu which is the biggest problem on these machines.

    explain packed it in
your cmos may be corrupt due to battery failure
check battery voltage without removing the battery
if the voltage is low you will have to replace it and reload the cmos
