    Maritool & Glacern Quality

I am wondering the quality of Maritool's endmills as I have used the no-name chinese ones and their terrible. I currently use Sowa thats made in the usa and pretty reasonably priced ($12) but I find their carbide endmills very brittle and their rougher's are very expensive.

I love Glacerns website but have never seen anyone besides the owner use them. How does their gsv_690 vice compare to a kurt? They have a very attractive price but look exactly like a kurt and have better specs...

Anyone who uses these products care to give me their opinions? Thanks!

I have purchased 4 straight shank ER20 tool holders and a good number of collets from Maritool and the quality has been excellent. Runout has been 1.5 to 2 tenths at the most, To me for the price thats a really good deal. I picked up a couple of the reduced shank long reach 3 flute endmills for a project I haven't started yet, they appear to be of good quality. I let you know after I make some chips..
