    New skip in the house

    Hey boys and girls,
Names Ivan and i like longs walks on the beach, puppies and poetry ... Sorry wrong forum...

Im a Toolmaker and live in Victoria Australia.
I'm on the market for a lathe and mill for home as i've just become unemployed ..
I found this site today and got pumped about having a CNC at home.

I do alot of aftermarket motorbike parts all in Al. so i need machines of my own now that i cant do them at work.

Does anyone use their CNC for machining Al.?

Below is the latest part i need to finish. Its a plenum for my turbo bike.
    330mm x 90mm x 50mm

Anyway i look forward to typing at you during my stay.
Im off to have a look around.

    New Kid on the Block

Welcome - I love pretty flowers too!

I have bought the leftovers of AdeptCIMCentre CNC lathe and mill company. You can check these out at www.adeptcimcentre.com.au We are trying to get schools to get their CIM Center out of the corner and use it in sell it back to us so it can be placed with someone who will use it. These are very solid machines mechanically. If it suits we may be able to put you onto one.
