Can you identify this Wood Router?

I recently purchased this CNC Router form a sign company that never used it. I have some paper work, but no name brand or model. I was cleaning it up a bit, and found some excess slop in the Z-Axis bearings. Further investigation, it was not the Thomson Super 8 linear bearing, but the bearing housing itself. Seems the Super 8 has 4 metal bars running long ways that have wallered out the holder, made from a PVC type material (in blue in photos). I was hoping someone could identify the machine with make and model so I could find a part number for those housings. If I can't find them, how about a fellow CNC'r to make some out of aluminum? Here are the pictures:

    Thanks in advance!! Rick

I use those same bearing in my Z axis on my home built machine. I too had some slop in them. I removed most of it by carefully wrapping them with aluminum tape for heating and cooling ductwork. Put enough tape to get a really tight fit in the housing. Regular tape won't allow you to get it as tight, as the tape will tear when sliding them in . The aluminum tape is much stronger, and can get you a very tight fit.

Re: Can you identify this Wood Router?

I found out by taking a look at the Breakout board. It is a Cyber-NC CNC Router, but they are out of business. Websites don't work. I am looking for a XML file to interface with Mach 3 if anyone has one to share...
