    laser cut carbon fiber laminates?

    hi all,
i was wondering if there is some kind of laser router with a tilting head that can cut a carbon part made for motorcycles. i'm really tired of cutting it w/ hand and a 5 Axis CNC is too expensive at the moment.

the problem i'd think of is our parts are all kinds of shapes, i've seen waterjet with 45 degree tilting head, that'll be enough for laser to cut most of our pieces. a good example would be a front fender for a bike, any existing machines out there can do the job at a relatively low cost?

    thanks in advance

    daz

we're in atlanta, GA, anyone in the area that does a laser cutting service?

what is your budget? a laser engraver that can gut Carbon fiber in different angles should be around 60 to 100k.

Make sure you have an excellent exhaust system as the fumes smell BAD!
