Shopmaster Owners Near Minneapolis, MN or Decatur, AL

I posted up an introduction in the Club Room and had an interesting and unhelpful exchange w/ another member so I'll try here.

I'm seriously considering buying the new Shopmaster Patriot but I would like to actually SEE one in the flesh before I make my purchase.

Are you (or do you know) a Shopmaster (of any generation) owner near either Minneapolis, MN or Decatur/Huntsville, AL? If so, could I take a look at your machine?

    Thanks.

I know it is quite a way from Decatur but you can see mine here in South Carolina near Columbia.

Thanks John, but I'm limited on how far I can travel from Decatur/Huntsville to about an hours drive. I appreciate the offer though.

    Hi Ocular,

I have a Tri-Power in Madison AL, half way between Huntsville and Decatur.

I have a 5 yr old Eldorado at my home near Star Prairie, WI. That's 30 minutes east of Stillwater, MN or an hour from downtown Minneapolis.

I had many minor problems with defective and missing parts with the Shoptask but it's OK for my needs now. Reply if you'd like to see it.

Andy, thanks for the offer. I did get a chance to check out Bert's machine down in AL so I'm all set.

And I wanted to say a big Thank You to Bert for letting me come over and check out his Shopmaster. He seems like a hell of a nice guy and I really appreciate his generosity.
