Cutting a pipe into two, waterjet or laser

I have a piece of stainless steel pipe.

About 11mm in length. 1 inch outer dia, 5/8 inch inner dia.

Anybody can cut it into two pieces, about 4:7 ratio?

Any technology that can minimize kerf would be great. I read up maybe waterjet or laser cutting would work.

Just trying to make a pair of wedding rings for myself.

you could use wire-cutting for the work, it will work the best.

Thanks for letting me know I'll look into it.

Why not cut it with band/hacksaw and then face on lathe, or simply use parting tool on lathe?
