    Tuning a G340 servo drive

I have read that tuning a Rutex is easier since they have tuning
software and that you have to have a osciliscope to properly
tune a Gecko. Is this true? How does one tune a G340 without
a scope? Is it easy?, or is it just trial and error and hope you
get something that works ok, or can you tune motor accuratly
    without one???

    Hey,
Most accurate with an o-scope. However, the drives come preset for 'most' motors. So you may not have to mess with them at all. On the other hand, it's not rocket science to tune them by eye. Don't sweat it.
