    Finish question

Decided to play around with BobART and my Taig see what I can do. Here is my problem. I was test cutting this in some black Delrin. Started lower right(4 o'clock) and worked to upper left(10 o'clock). It's kind of hard to see but the cut is a little rough until it gets towards the end and then it really smooth. I was wondering what would be the cause for this? I was using a .020 ball end with a .003 step over, .020 DOC, 9000 RPM with 12 IPM feed.

I forgot to mention this is a fairly new machine with maybe 20 hours on it max.

With plastics you need very sharp tools to get good results. Also, if you did not surface the stock first and/or your mill is not in tram you will have perhaps a few thousandth of depth difference across the piece.

I would understand a dull tool if it got worse as it progressed across the piece but it's the opposite here. There is about .0025 difference in depth from one side to the other. I didn't face off the material before cutting. I was just testing to see how the subject would look before I cut it in some aluminum. Thanks.
