CNC build help
I finally have the time and money together to build a cnc machine but have run into a problem. I want to run DC servo's that run between 12V-18V, I was told that three toroidal transformers at 6V, 5amps tied in parallel and tying them all into a bridge rectifier and then to a 10000mF, 75V capacitor with a sand resistor (bleeder) would do just fine, I would get 15 amps. Only problem is I'm not getting 15 amps. I get 8.24 volts according to my DMM when I use my DMM to test at the capacitor (with bleeder) or am I testing it wrong, what setting to use on a DMM, actually to get amp readings?
I'm a beginner in this hobby but am no stranger to machining and electrical projects, safely, I have made a benchtop power supply from a PC power supply unit: see pictures to show my (amatuer) skill level. Also, is it possible to use the "converted" ATX power supply (switching power supply) with the IMService servo drivers?
Here are the toroidal transformers I have:

Can anyone help me out, guide me in the right direction, or atleast a detailed drawing of how to wire up a power supply for aCNC4PC C-11G BOB and 3 IMService servo drives for DC servos motors that run between 12 V DC - 18V DC, need I say it...please? You all know the satisfaction of building and fine tuning your own machines...that is what I want, too. Can anyone help?
"Are you gonna eat that?"
