Is Mach3 best/only choice with CamBam?

Hi all. Newbie, here. I'm finally plunging into the CNC world and will start with using CamBam as I've read good things about it and the price is right. I know that it was designed to work with Mach 3. My stepper motors will be driven by a Gecko 540. Is Mach3 still the best choice for a windows OS?

CamBam plus has a post processor system which can be user customised to produce g-code for a variety of CNC controllers.
Mach3, TurboCNC, EMC and Fanuc post processors are included in the standard install.

I use CamBam with EMC and they work quite well together. You can go to http://linuxcnc.org/ and download a "live CD" that you can boot your PC from and try out EMC without making any changes to your computer.

    Good luck,
    Mike

P.S. I almost forgot, EMC and Linux are FREE!! :-)
