Hi everyone.
Ive been playing around with the trial version of Cut2D to see if it works fine for me before purchasing. I have a .DXF file that I have been trying to get working.
The DXF file was made by someone else from the US using Imperial measurements. It is made to be cut out of a 16" x 32" Piece of timber.
Being from Aus, I dont do things by Imperial and want to run Cut2D in Metric. If I open the DXF and input material size as 16" x 32" It shows up perfectly. When creating a new file I select Metric and input my size in MM, Being around 400 x 800mm. When I Import my DXF again its tiny, only taking up around 10% of the whole page.
Is this because the DXF was created in Imperial? Do I need to suck it up and cut this one in Imperial and just create my next DXF's in Metric?
Is there any way to convert the DXF over into Metric in Rhino3D to use with my Metric Setup? Or Will I need to run the Machine in Imperial?
Thanks,
John
