    Hollow shaft linear rail

    Anyone know where I can find some in different lengths? A few different places would be cool so I could compare prices.

    The metal suppliers can order in stainless steel tubing, the outside is ground polished to different finishes, some are matte but you can get fine polished too. The thin wall stuff is sold as curtain rail, but you can get thicker walled tube in the same finish. I have some about 3/4" OD and close to 1/8" thick wall. It's pretty sturdy.

    You may need to order a 6 yard length if they don't normally stock that type of tube.
