    PS191 Error????

    Hello, I am scratching my head today. We have a particular part that requires a double arc milled into 1/4" 304 SST plate. This a part that we have run successfully 3 times on our Haas VF3. That Machine is now dedicated to another part and not available. Our Head CNC operator insists that this program should run on out older Matsurra with Fanuc controller. However, when the program is loaded, it alarms on the 1st line with PS191. We re-ran the program in simulation mode on the Haas & no had no alarms. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Here is the code:

    I have searched all my Fanuc PDFs and can't find any info on this alarm. I can only see two possible causes (if this is your complete program).

    Firstly, the first line usually contains the program number eg. O0001;

    Secondly, has your machine got G59 work offset option?

    regards, Oz

    PS191 is "RADIUS TOO LARGE. An arc was specified for which the difference in the radius at the
    start and end points exceeds the value set in parameter 2410".

    Is the G41 G90 (X7.5) supposed to be commented out? This looks like a move to apply cutter comp.

    Why not post a drawing with the arcs dimensioned.
