    Spindle Unlock

    Just looking for the unlock code for an Okuma milling machine OSP 100M
    I know M19 Locks the spindle, and have tried M18,M20 to unlock neither worked. Any help would be appericiated.

    Try M5.
    If that won't work, command a speed with M3 then a M5. Reset button usually works to.

    confirmation:
    no special M code for spindle unlock. There is "unlock" button for manual operation. Machine Reset unlocks also.
    It unlocks automatically with spindle revolution command.
    Tell what's the problem straight.

    Algirdas is correct there is no spindle unlock. M19 does hold the spindle in position but this is spindle orient. M5 is for spindle stop. As mentioned below just press the reset button to release the spindle.
