Need a suggestion on what cnc to Buy

I'm Mainly looking for a CNC Router/engraver For PCB work (pin through mainly but maybe some SMD)

I never really even looked at CNC machine's before a few week's ago

SO try to keep any tech talk to a minimum and the newbienese high

    Level: Hobby

    Budget $800-$900

And would also like advice on the common hole size's and what degree cutter's to get

the sable-2015 caught my eye a few time's but if all I'm doing is PCB work do i need something that beefy?

Thanks in advance for any help

And building my own isn't really a option

A friend gave me a step motor and driver (chip) to play with and even with basic digital knowledge i couldn't get it to work right

I don't know that one just seems like it's built really cheap

And even look's like it has play in it
I mean i don't need to mill metal but i don't want it to snap if i try to engrave something and accidentally go to deep

    Any other suggestion's?

So far im still leaning towards the sable

For your budget, especially since you don't want to build yourself, I don't know of any other options. My first cnc machine was from www.hobbycnc.com, and now they sell electronic kits as well, for the cost it's a very capable machine.

Maybe you could look into the carvewright machines, they sell them at sears for $1000. Well I guess they increased their price: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/CarveWright-Carvewright-N01-Woodworking-System/dp/B000WA7FTC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1266079005&sr=1-4"]Amazon.com: CarveWright N01 Woodworking System: Home Improvement[/ame]

k2cnc's cheapest machine is $1500, which include no electronics.

If you wanna keep your budget, yer gonna have to build I would think.
