Question Mori Seiki SV 500 With FANUC controls

    Hello,
My company just purchased a used Mori Seiki machining center with a 2 pallet system. There appear top be three programs one of which is just a safe sub routine( redundant cycle cancel ect..).
There are two other programs to run 20 pieces on each pallet.
Can anyone tell me what these lines mean?
    G54 L20 P11 X___ Y___

    G54 L20 P12 X___ Y___

    G54 L20 P13 X___ Y___ ............
    and progresses up to P20.
Can someone explain what the "L" word and "P" word do in the G54 work coordinate.
    Thanks

L is type of offset and P is the number of offset. Check your manual for more info.
The best way to learn is trial error.

    Some info he left out
The SV50/500/503 pallet changer is a side mount, side by side. It seems to me there are sub programs from the factory to get A pallet/Bpallet and IF i remember correctly, they use those P commands for that.
