    Thanks, but I'm looking for how the X or U dimension is calculated. It is supposed to be the diameter at the end of the stroke but being on a 1 degree 47 minute angle, how do you figure the X diameter to put in the second line??

    A trig calcualtor will come handy. Most job will only require right triangle formular, for for info http://faculty.matcmadison.edu/kmiru...gonometry.html

    Ok take 1deg 47minute for example, and assum the lenght of the program for the thread is .56" and .56" is on close side of the degree, so look at your right angle it's Tangent formular(Opposite/adjecent = tan), so just plug the number in the calculator Tan 1deg47minute x .56" . That will give you the value for X, Note: that's is only for one side, also Z start point need to take into consideration of the calculation legth.

    Example,
    G0X.6Z.1(take this length into calculation)
    G76 P011560 R0.2 ;
    G76 U.12 Z−.46 R.087 P6.0 Q.35 F4.0(Z is shorter .1)
